Michael R. Glover is an aspiring lighting designer in the Bachelor’s of Arts program at San Diego State University for Design and Technology for the Theatre. Recently he designed a student production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) on the SDSU Experimental Theatre stage and Guys and Dolls at Westminster Theatre in Point Loma. Graduating this spring, Michael looks forward to continuing his career in the lighting field and is excited to have received the Fellowship, to assist Craig Wolf and to be apart of this team.

Rob Lutfy is the Associate Artistic Director at Cygnet Theatre. He was the 2014-2015 National New Play Network Producer-in-Residence at Marin Theatre Company. Cygnet Theatre: Sons of the Prophet, The Motherf**ker with the Hat Elsewhere: Clown Play, NYC International Fringe Festival; The Gin Game, Anacostia Playhouse; The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Threshold Repertory; The Sunset Limited, 3M Productions;Time Stands Still, Collaborative Arts. He has worked on plays in development at The Kennedy Center, The O’Neill Theatre Center, Burning Coal Theatre, The Hub Theatre and The Rensing Center. He has assisted directors at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Folger Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center and Marin Theatre Company. He was the 2012-13 William R. Hannah is excited to premier in her first production at Cygnet. Hannah graduated from SDSU with a BA in Theatre Design and Technology, and currently works as a Stage Manager serving the greater San Diego area. SDSU’s Les Misérables in Concert, Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser, and Pal Joe.

Taylor is a sound designer and audio mixer currently studying at San Diego State University. Highlights of his sound design career include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged] (SDSU DATA), Agamemnon (University of Pittsburgh Stages), and The Diviners (TP Players) and assistant designing Dogfight (Cygnet Theatre) and Trouble in Mind (Moxie Theatre). Favorite mix credits include A Christmas Carol (Cygnet Theatre) and Man of La Mancha (TP Players). Taylor was privileged to spend his past two summers in the sound shop at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Aaron Posner
Aaron Posner is a Helen Hayes and Barrymore Award-winning director and playwright. He is a founder and former Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s Arden Theatre, is an Associate Artist at both the Folger Theatre and Milwaukee Repertoy Theatre, and has directed at major regional theatres from coast to coast including the Folger, Seattle Rep, Portland Center Stage, The Alliance, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Arizona Theatre Company, Milwaukee Rep, California Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Roundhouse Theatre, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre, Theatre J, American Player’s Theatre and many more. His adaptations include Chaim Potok’s The Chosen and My Name is Asher Lev (both of which has enjoyed successful runs at more than 50 other theatres across the country), Ken Kesey’s Sometimes a Great Notion, Mark Twain’s A Murder, a Mystery and a Marriage, an adaptation of three Kurt Vonnegut short stories, entitled Who Am I This Time? (and Other Conundrums of Love) and Stupid Fucking Bird, a variation on Chekhov’s Seagull. Aaron was raised in Eugene, Oregon, graduated from Northwestern University, is an Eisenhower Fellow, and lives near Washington, DC.
Dean Remington
Dean is thrilled to return to the Cygnet, having just completed its successful run of When the Rain Stops Falling. National Tours include The Lion King and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and in the United Kingdom he was delighted to work with Cameron Mackintosh on his musical, Hey, Mr. Producer! Other highlights include Outside Mullingar at San Diego REP as well as international productions of Grease, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, A Chorus Line, Dreamgirls, and Meet Me in St. Louis. Dean has also enjoyed working in Film and Television on numerous projects as a Production Coordinator.
David Scott
David received a B.A. in Theatrical Design and Technology from San Diego State University, and is currently working towards an MFA in Sound Design and Electro-Acoustic Composition at SDSU. Syd Stevens
Syd is a multitalented fine artist, photographer, filmmaker and multimedia designer. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University. Syd has contributed to numerous theatre productions, music videos, television productions, TV commercials and has worked both behind the scenes and in front of the camera on motion picture film productions. Syd is an accomplished fine artist and has had many public art, photography and digital multimedia exhibitions. He is also a community activist and covers current local events as a photojournalist and blogger. R. Craig Wolf
R. Craig Wolf has taught and designed lighting nationwide for both theatre and dance. Credits include designs for New York’s Dance Theatre Workshop, Theatre Artaud in San Francisco, Japan America Center in Los Angeles, SRT in Santa Rosa, and the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. In addition, Craig is resident designer for Native Voices at the Autry and senior designer for Mountain Light Company in Denver, CO. Former Head of the Design Area and Professor Emeritus of Stage Design at San Diego State University, Mr. Wolf is the co-author of Scene Design and Stage Lighting, now in its tenth edition. Craig is pleased to be designing for Cygnet Theatre again this season.
